With a career spanning from latin music entertainment to award-winning interactive design at an agency and then as a founding member at The Sketch Effect in Atlanta, I’ve spent the last decade helping global innovators visualize their ideas. Now based in LA, I run VERTIQAL Studio, a boutique agency dedicated to partnering with brands and leaders to translate complex ideas into elevated branding, sketchnotes, and experiences.
My work is fueled by a relentless curiosity — from fine art to martial arts, travel and world-building in VR. I don’t believe in “standard” solutions; I believe in connecting the why in an open and playful creative process, building something truly impactful for my clients. Let’s bring your vision to life!

What is your fee for Sketchnote services?
Please get in touch and I will provide a quote for you. I have different packages based on the number of sessions and time on-site. My package fees include pre-event prep, onsite work and the final polished works, put together in a post-event PDF compilation for you to share. A deposit of 50% is required to secure dates. The remaining 50%, plus direct expenses, will be invoiced upon completion of work.
How early should I contact you about my event?
The sooner the better! I receive bookings weeks & months in advance. This gives you a piece of mind that your dates are reserved. If you’re still planning your event and don’t have dates, I can put a soft hold and keep you notified if there is a conflict. But once you place a deposit, your dates are confirmed.
Do you travel? Where are you based?
I’m based in Los Angeles but I travel regularly around the country and occasionally around the globe. Whether you need me for a 1-day all staff meeting or 5 day conference, I’m able to support your needs.
Do you support smaller events or only large ones?
I’m equipped to support events of all sizes. From all-company meetings of 5000 persons to 5 people in conference room, convention hall or online zoom call. We can discuss the best way for your attendees to see my work, whether at the front of your gathering to be seen throughout or at the back to be seen as a “reveal” between sessions. Let me know your goals and we’ll find the right solution.
Are Sketchnotes really useful?
Visuals reinforce concepts by appealing to the brain’s preference for imagery, making it easier for attendees to remember information long after the meeting. In addition, the creative nature of live art adds a unique excitement to the environment that everyone loves.
