Challenge:

Facing Race is a national conference presented by Race Forward, a non-profit working to advance racial justice in our policies, institutions, and culture. I was commissioned to create an interactive mural that captured the aspirations of attendees as they answered the prompt, “What would you like to see racial justice achieve in your lifetime?”

Opportunity:

This was a unique collaborative space for racial justice organizers, educators, creatives, and other leaders who do work from day-to-day for equality. So I wanted to capture the passion and variety in the many submissions.

Solution:

It was an amazing pleasure to add variation and color to the compassionate responses of attendees. Thank you so much Marina and Team for having me! Congratulations on a successful 3 days!
